UW RECREATION PROGRAMS
UW RECREATION PROGRAMS
As the Graphic Designer for UW Recreation, I created a series of vibrant digital displays to promote the Fall 2024 programs available to students and the campus community. The final designs capture the spirit of movement, wellness, and exploration through bold visuals and a cohesive, energetic brand language.

Research
Research
I analyzed UW Recreation’s existing visual materials and campus display systems to identify opportunities for stronger engagement and brand consistency. Research focused on understanding the program diversity and how to visually communicate inclusivity, activity, and community at a glance.

Each display was designed with dynamic typography, expressive color, and layered motion-inspired compositions that evoke vitality and balance. The designs maintain alignment with UW Recreation’s brand guidelines while introducing visual variation between program categories.

Through multiple iterations, I refined hierarchy, animation pacing, and screen composition for both indoor and outdoor digital displays. I worked closely with the communications team to ensure accessibility, readability, and seamless integration into the campus-wide signage network.

UW Recreation Icons Project
UW Recreation Icons Project
With the launch of new personal training programs, we redesigned UW Recreation’s icon system to be more visually engaging, intuitive, and consistent. The cohesive set represents four individual and four partner package sizes—each with in-person and virtual options—using clear, inviting forms that align with the brand’s energy.
We also refreshed the New Client Session and Customized Training Program icons, introducing tailored, approachable designs that reflect structure, growth, and accessibility. The result is a unified, modern icon system that enhances the digital experience while maintaining UW Recreation’s professional and welcoming identity.
